The garment industry is extremely active and competitive, therefore, it requires diligent planning and resource allocation to achieve the assigned goals and targets efficiently and effectively. Below is the outline of the Quality Plan, Goals, Targets, and Functions in the garments industry:

Quality plan

Getting sustainable product quality through continuous quality improvement to meet customer quality requirements and high customer satisfaction. Develop quality team skills by training up the QC team routine-wise and taking frequent exams and evaluating results. “Right first time” and ‘’Minimize defects up to zero’’ is our quality vision to achieve in the future. A quality plan in the garment industry ensures that products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Quality plans in the garment industry are tailored to customers’ needs and aim to surpass expectations while also adhering to the general workplace expectations within the industry. This includes the following steps:

  • Quality Standards: Compliance with foreign country regulations such as ISO 9001, AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), and other parties’ set conditions.
  • Process Control: Supervision and regulation of all processes in the chain, starting from fabric acquisition up to finishing of the garments.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conducting systematic pre-set examinations within various stages (in process, pre-final and final) to confirm that production to this point is fine.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Ensuring that needed quality raw materials (fabrics, threads, buttons, etc.) are delivered.
  • Documentation: Keeping all documents that involve quality verification and audits, as well as actions taken to remedy the issues.
  • Training: Quality standards and expectations are communicated to the workers at all staff levels in order to train them.
  • Continuous Improvement: Processes are changed according to previous results to better the next outcome.

Quality Goal and Target:

  1. Our goal is to achieve a defect percentage of 3% or less than that in Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing.
  2. Zero percent Final Audit Fail and Less than 1.50% defects in the customer checking in overseas.
  3. Achieve housekeeping as per 5S requirements in every section.
  4. Achieve less than 3.50% submitted quality level defects percentage in the final Quality Audit.
  5. 100% packing and trims- accessories attachment accuracy
  6. No customer complaints
  7. Set the Waste reduction percentage.
  8. Promoting products to target markets.
