The final inspector generally conducts the inspection process before shipment, and also conducts it after completing the pre-final or lot pass inspection; it’s called final inspection. It is also known as pre-shipment inspection. To get the right measurement, perfect finishing, and the accuracy of the final inspection, we have to maintain a sequence of different steps as follows. It is also used as a sequence of the final inspection of a garment shipment lot. In this article, we explain the Final Inspection Process in the Garments Industry.

The final inspection procedure is essential in the apparel business to guarantee the quality of completed goods prior to client shipment. Generally, it entails a thorough examination of every item of clothing, looking for flaws in the sizing, color consistency, fabric quality, stitching, and overall appearance. Inspectors of quality control inspect clothing based on predefined standards and criteria in order to find any problems that require fixing. A Final inspection process is a Final quality audit in garment manufacturing, known as “Final Audit”. A buyer QC or third-party (independent) QC does a final audit. A final audit is a judgment that certifies whether a lot is shippable or not from the buyer’s (customer’s) end as per the buyer’s quality standard. The final inspection result shows the whole factory’s quality performance. The final Audit room is very restricted; only the buyer QC and factory-nominated 2 or 3 people are allowed in the room during the Final inspection process. Activities to be performed during the final inspection are as follows:

Sampling Process: Will it be 100% inspection, or based on AQL? If AQL, check the level and fix the sampling and acceptance quantity.
