Output per machine hour. Useful for machine-paced processes where the machine, not the operator, sets the pace.
Machine productivity = good output / (machines × running hours)

Use it for knitting (kg per machine hour), cutting and automated sewing, and to compare machines of the same type.
Six circular knitting machines of the same model run 22 hours each and produce 2,640 kg of single jersey.
Productivity = 2,640 / (6 × 22) = 20 kg per machine hour
