Rejection % = rejected units / units produced × 100

Use it to track the cost of quality losses and to reconcile cut quantity against shipped quantity.
A cut of 10,200 pieces yields 10,050 good garments and 45 rejects (the rest are samples and shortages).
Rejection % = 45 / 10,095 produced × 100 = 0.45%
